# How do I add existing worlds to my server?

First, determine whether your server uses the ValheimServerHosting panel or the Hostari panel. **This method only works for servers that run the ValheimServerHosting panel.** To confirm this, you can [read this article](/en/article/how-do-i-know-if-i-have-the-hostari-panel-or-valheimserverhosting-panel-1vnd9x5/) or reach out directly to chat.

Once you've confirmed that you're using the ValheimServerHosting panel, click the "Add World" button on your server profile.

You will be needing the .db and .fwl which contains your Valheim world progress. You can copy paste this on your windows directory: %appdata%\..\locallow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds .  **Make sure that the Valheim game is closed before copy pasting this.**

Drag and drop the <worldname.db> and <worldname.fwl> files onto the Add World panel.
