How do I add myself or other people as admins?

This feature is only available for users who have paid for their server.
Unlike other providers, we won't hassle you and require you to know how to use FTP to change text files. ValheimServerHosting provides an easy to use interface that allows you to easily change Valheim server settings without leaving your web browser.

Accessing and editing adminlist.txt

Valheim assigns server admins by reading the adminlist.txt file, which is present in every Valheim server. You can access this by logging in to your ValheimServerHosting account and navigating to your server's dashboard. You should be able to see the "Edit Admin List" button. If the button is greyed out, double check if your server is currently subscribed to a payment plan. If you are subscribed to a payment plan and this button is still greyed out, let our team know by clicking on the Crisp Chat message bubble available on the lower left part of the screen.

To add users to the adminlist.txt file, you need to enter the players' steamID64. Rest assured that this value is stored securely within our servers and will only be accessible through your account.

For your security, we will never ask you to log into ValheimServerHosting.com with your Steam account, and we will never ask you to provide your Steam credentials to us. Please be vigilant about keeping your Steam account secure!
